Teletherapy
Teletherapy is the delivery of therapeutic services through live video conferencing. Complying with HIPAA requirements, counseling can be provided with privacy, security and convenience. Sessions are confidential and all data is encrypted to protect your personal health information.

There is a growing demand for telehealth services for those with difficulty finding time in their busy day to regularly attend in-person appointments. Teletherapy is often used by professionals who can take a break during their work day, new parents who have difficulty leaving a new baby or finding child care, college students moving away from home, or for those who may find difficulty locating a therapist in their community that specializes in a specific area. Research has shown it can be just as effective as traditional face-to-face sessions.
State telehealth laws require you to be physically located in the state where the therapist is licensed at the time of your session. I am licensed to practice Teletherapy in Illinois and California.
